Route 24 - H3 Monks Way 

Provides a connecting Redway on both sides of the H3 Monks Way

Fixes missing links in the network and improves the existing Redway 

Improves and upgrades crossing points giving priority to people on the Redway 

Connects people to the places they need go  

Option A:

5m segregated Redway, providing separate space for people walking and cycling 

Redway runs behind treeline directly beside the grid road creating a direct route from East-West 

New Redway bridges to cross V7 Saxon Street and V8 Marlborough Street

Option B:

Utilises and refreshes existing Redways through estates and along the H3 Monks Way

Fixes missing links by providing new 3m or 5m Redways according to the available space  

The existing Redways through estates are slightly longer routes providing surveillance from residential properties.

Route 291 – V7 Saxon Street

Links the Railway Walk to the H3 Monks Way

Provides a Redway on both sides of the road, enabling people to walk and cycle safely to the places they need to go - Local Centre, Health Care facilities, Schools, Leisure Centre.  

Improves and upgrades crossing points giving priority to people on the Redway 

Option A:

5m segregated Redway, 2m footway and 3m cycleway on both sides of the V7 Saxon Street  

Upgrades existing Redways along the route and fixes missing links with new Redways 

On the east side from Purbeck the Redway is set back from the grid road, closer to houses and facilities

Option B:

5m segregated Redway, 2m footway and 3m cycleway on the east side from Purbeck, the Redway runs alongside the grid road 

3m Redway shared use Redway on the west side. Existing Redway from H3Monks Way to Kingsfold is updated and resurfaced. New Redway is provided along Barry Avenue from Kingsfold to the Railway Walk
