Planning services temporarily unavailable 13 to 30 September

Our current planning applications system has been in place for more than 25 years and we are moving to a new and better system which will be easier to use. To do this, planning services will be temporarily unavailable between 13 and 30 September.

Applications and decisions

During this time we are unable to accept any applications, issue any decisions or accept any comments in relation to applications. Applications submitted during this time will be processed as normal once the new system is online.

Commenting on an application

If you wish to make a comment on an application, please return after 30 September.  Applications affected by this work will still have the correct consultation period, as they will be ‘paused’ while the systems are offline and will restart when the new system is in place.

Planning enforcement

You can still report an alleged breach of planning control using our planning enforcement form during this time, however you will only receive an acknowledgement when the new system is online. Existing cases will continue to be investigated but communications may be slightly delayed.

MK City Plan 2050

The consultation on the MK City Plan 2050 is unaffected by this work. You can still get involved and have your say  by visiting MK City Plan 2050 | Milton Keynes City Council (milton-keynes.gov.uk)

We apologise for any inconvenience and thank you for your understanding.
