Milton Keynes City Council in partnership with the National Residential Landlords Association (NRLA) are introducing a Landlord Accreditation Scheme and would like all landlords who rent properties in Milton Keynes and those landlords that we work in partnership with to become accredited.
Accreditation aims to improve housing standards and raise confidence in the private rented sector by ensuring that landlords have the appropriate skills and knowledge to manage their properties.
We want to encourage landlords to take up accreditation and to initially support this we are providing a free introductory offer for landlords to sign up and get accredited.
To claim your free offer please contact the Private Sector Housing Service by email or by phone 01908 252664. The offer is limited so please don’t hesitate to claim yours.
The offer is for 12-months free membership plus the training needed to become accredited.
For landlords who are already a NRLA member or accredited member, you can access the offer to claim a refund equivalent to the value of one year's membership.
Membership to the NRLA comes with a wide range of benefits such as:
For further information on the benefits and training available and to sign up to the landlords accreditation scheme, please visit the NRLA website.
We proactively work with landlords to increase housing supply in the private rented sector, therefore Landlords are encouraged to join our Assured Shorthold Tenancy Scheme where they will qualify for a cash incentive by offering a family a home.
