We are temporarily suspending the scheme to finalise the outstanding assessments for the previous scheme and to deliver the relevant system changes to support the new allocations scheme.
The new scheme is in place from 16 January 2025, however the scheme is temporarily suspended until 16th April 2025.

Applications received before 16th January 2025 will be assessed against the eligibility and qualifying criteria of our previous allocations scheme.

Due to application to the housing register being temporarily suspended between 16th of January to 16 April 2025, you will have to wait to reapply once the application reopens on 16th April 2025.

There are some minimal banding priority changes, and those applications will be identified and amended after 16th April 2025 when the application for the housing register reopens. No one's banding priority will decrease. Banding priorities will increase for a small number of applications for those moving on from supported accommodation to Band B and those needing to move on from refuge accommodation to Band A.
You can apply to the new scheme once the application reopens on 16 April 2025.
In line with the new allocations scheme, under section 1.4 allocations will be made through an Exceptional Decision Panel.
