We think about what’s needed to maintain and improve services as we set the council budget for the year ahead.  It’s very challenging: demand for our help is high, and we’ve had to make more than £152m in cuts since 2011.

We’ve received a number of safety concerns from local councillors and residents about speeding vehicles travelling along Newport Road in Broughton.   

As a result we’ve put together some proposals to address these issues.

The Housing Strategy provides a clear vision of how the Council and its stakeholders can achieve our shared aspiration in providing housing that meets the needs and requirements of Milton Keynes.

We are consulting on our vision, commitments and principles and will use the feedback from this to develop the next regeneration strategy; ensuring it is developed with the input of local communities.
