Complaints about a school

A complaint about a school should, in the first instance, be addressed directly to the particular school it is about.

Every school has a legal requirement to have a complaints procedure in place and you need to refer to the school complaints policy, which must be published on the school website.

This policy will set out the staged process for managing any issues or concerns that arise and the timelines that apply for lodging a complaint.
