If you have a disability or medical condition and there is nobody else in your household who can put your bags and bins out, you may be eligible for an assisted collection. 

We can arrange for our collection crew to collect your bags and bins from just outside your front door instead of the boundary.

How do I apply for an assisted collection?

If you aren't able to apply online, you can contact our Customer Services team by email customerservices@milton-keynes.gov.uk or telephone 01908 252570 to request an application form to be sent out to you.

We may ask for a proof of disability, such as an allowance or pension or your disabled registration number.

Assisted collection renewals

Periodically the council may write to check if your circumstances have changed and whether you still need an assisted collection.  You will be asked to complete a response form which can be completed online or by contacting our customer services team on 01908 25 25 70, or we will enclose a form and postal details when we write to you.
