The Carbon Offset Fund is currently closed for new applications
The carbon offset fund (COF) can provide up to 50% match funding to support works for community groups and public organisations that provide long term carbon emissions reductions in Milton Keynes (MK).
Eligibility
The COF is open to:
- MK community groups and community organisations
- public organisations including schools
- MK Council, parish and town councils
- MK charities and not for profit organisations
- bulk domestic schemes active within the borough

Projects might include;
- solar PV panels,
- low energy lighting,
- upgrades to windows and doors,
- insulation e.g. roof, cavity, floor
- replacement of gas/oil/LPG heating system with heat pumps
Please note carbon capture or offsetting are not eligible, neither are energy storage projects. Only carbon saving projects will be offered funding.
