Milton Keynes City Council has a duty to monitor, challenge and support maintained schools to ensure a high standard of education for all children. Our School Improvement Framework sets out how we do this in more detail.

In addition the School Improvement team provide and/or facilitate a:

• traded consultancy service - for all schools
• traded Annual Evaluation service - for academies (maintained schools will receive via de-delegation)
• Headteacher Performance Management (HPTM) service - for all schools
• safeguarding audit service - for academies (maintained schools will receive via de-delegation)
• senior leader recruitment service - for all schools
