Twinkle Tots playgroup provides child care for children aged 2 years - 5 years. Twinkle Tots is open from 08.45am to 3.00pm offering up to ten three hour sessions, morning, afternoon or all day. Twinkle Tots offers individual care for all our families, providing a secure and accessible environment in which all children can flourish, promoting equality of opportunity.

Twinkle Tots strives:

• To have regard for the Special Educational Needs and Disabilities code of practice 2014.
• To ensure our provision is inclusive to all children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
• To support parents and children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.
• To identify the specific needs of children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities at the earliest opportunity and meet their needs through a range of SEN strategies.
• To work in partnership with parents and other agencies in meeting individual children's needs.
• To monitor and review our policy, practice and provision and if necessary make adjustments.

Twinkle Tots identifies early intervention as paramount assessing children in their play, providing fun challenging activities and from this responding to children's Special Educational Needs and Disabilities.

• Our inclusive settling in process makes transition smooth for both child and family.
• 6 week baseline assessment from child's start date.
• Twinkle Tots operates a key-person system - Parent Partnership Observation, assessment and planning including Inclusion planning within our weekley themes, ensuring every child is included and supported.
• Providing parents with advice, support and if needed and with prior permission with other professionals.
