Sherington Pre-School
We aim to provide support for all children so they can fully participate in Sherington pre-school life alongside their peers and make good progress during their time with us. Our observations aim to identify early when a child may need extra support there is no eligibility criteria. Our observations help us identify and plan individual help in conjunction with the child's parents using the 'assess, plan, do, review, graduated approach.
Children are observed regularly by the staff and their key person and a two-year check or baseline will be carried out focusing on the prime areas of learning and regular progress reports in all seven areas of learning in the EYFS.
