River Meadow is an independent charity providing a Preschool and a Breakfast Club within the grounds of Tickford Park Primary School in Newport Pagnell. 

Our Aims

• To enhance the development and education of children from two and a half years to statutory school age, encouraging them to learn through play, in a parent involving, community based group.
• To offer a Breakfast Club for ages four to eleven.
• To provide a safe, secure and stimulating environment.
• To work within a framework which ensures equality of opportunity for all children and families.

About River Meadow

The group has been established since 1984, and has been at our present location since 2006. We pride ourselves in the service provided to Newport Pagnell and the surrounding area and we actively involve the children in many aspects of the local community.  We have received excellent Ofsted reports and at the latest inspection in November 2014 we were awarded “Good”. 

For many years we have maintained close ties with all the local schools, working together to ensure the transition to school is an easy step. We are based at Tickford Park Primary School and maintain close links with them, however we remain an independently run and managed facility and children who attend River Meadow are not obliged to continue on to Tickford Park Primary School.  In addition to the Preschool we also run a Breakfast Club for pupils of Tickford Park Primary School.
