Play Therapy Services
Play Therapy is a child led intervention that provides children and young people with an opportunity to explore and manage feelings or situations, develop coping mechanisms and support their learning and concentration.
Since it began in May this year, Child and Family Wellbeing have been delivering therapeutic play interventions in local schools for children and young people who are struggling with behavioural difficulties, social and emotional needs, or trauma.
Child and Family Wellbeing can provide therapeutic play services to local school children along with offering staff training in the topic of Play Therapy or working more therapeutically with children. Support work with parents is also available.
