Great Holm Pre-School is a member of the Pre-school Learning Alliance (PSLA).

We aim to provide a safe and caring environment where each child is free to develop to his or her full potential. Children are encouraged to act with courtesy and consideration to others at all times. The staff will be consistent in the treatment of the children, applying rules firmly and fairly. We set high standards, we expect to give and receive respect.

The staff aim to provide security and continuity and will do all they can to develop positive attitudes and set good examples. The children are encouraged to take pride in their Pre-school, to respect others and their environment.

During the sessions the children learn through a variety of stimulating activities. The children learn to share with others, to experiment with a variety of materials and activities, to express themselves and develop their language skills and to become confident to do things independently.
