Site Allocations Plan (2018)
The Site Allocations Plan (SAP) was adopted by Milton Keynes Council at its meeting on the 18 July 2018, details of which can be found at Council 18 July 2018. The plan now forms part of the Council's Development Plan.
The preparation of the SAP was a commitment in the 2013 Core Strategy as a means of providing flexibility and contingency in housing land supply ahead of the full review of the housing requirement in Plan:MK. The adopted version of the plan allocates 15 small and medium sites within the Milton Keynes built-up area for residential use so as to provide a short-term boost to housing land supply. Each site allocation contains a number of key principles for the development of the site which will form a material consideration, alongside all other relevant policies within the Development Plan, in the determination of planning applications.
The adopted version of the SAP and associated adoption documents can be viewed below whilst further details of the preparation stages and examination of the plan can be viewed at Site Allocations Plan Preparation and Examination.
