The Central Bletchley Urban Design Framework Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) was adopted by Milton Keynes Council, following a Delegated Decision, on 1 April 2022. The Delegated Decision, taken on 22 March 2022, also facilitated the revocation of the extant Central Bletchley Regeneration Strategy Supplementary Planning Guidance (2004).

The Central Bletchley Urban Design Framework Supplementary Planning Document (2022) links to Policy SD16 (Central Bletchley Prospectus Area) of Plan:MK; it provides urban design principles and guidance to inform the holistic renewal and redevelopment of the area covered by the Central Bletchley Prospectus (2019). The SPD will be considered a material consideration in the determination of planning applications submitted to the City Council.

Consultation on the Draft Central Bletchley Urban Design Framework SPD (December 2021)
Formal consultation on the draft SPD was undertaken over a 6-week period, from Monday 20 December 2021 to Monday 31 January 2022. Following the consultation period, all representations received were taken into consideration by the Council when finalising the SPD for adoption.
