Population covered:

• The service is available to all adults and children aged 2 and above registered with a GP practice located within the geographical area of BLMK ICB
• Children between 2 and 16 years must be accompanied at their appointment by an adult
• The service can also be used by patients who are not registered with a local GP but are resident and eligible for NHS care e.g., members of the travelling community or homeless people

Please note that this service does not provide eye tests.

Access:

• Patients can self-present with an urgent eye condition requiring consultation
• Patients referred to the service by another healthcare provider e.g., GP Practice, Opticians, NHS-111, Hospital eye service or A&E
• Closed door policies apply with telephone booking only.
