You can make an application to this annual £25k fund to request accessibility improvements to the local highway. Applications are assessed based on set criteria such as how many people will benefit from a scheme and if approved will be delivered in the financial year. Accessibility Fund

Schemes are usually adding dropped kerbs or handrails where there are none or removing unnecessary street furniture that may be causing an obstruction for pedestrians with mobility issues.
