Britain in Bloom
As part of our commitment to encourage participation in the management of the environment, we annually participate in the Thames and Chilterns region of the RHS Britain in Bloom competition.
Communities, businesses, schools and organisations within Milton Keynes participate in either the City entry or in other community categories, which have had great success in recent years, both regionally and nationally.
Annually, judges visit the entered communities in the borough whose horticultural prowess is judged to national standards in three key areas:
- horticultural achievement (50%)
- environmental responsibility (25%)
- community participation (25%)
