MK Council cultural grants

The culture team also manages the annual MK Council Cultural Grants process when organisations which meet Milton Keynes’ Creative and Cultural Strategy’s priorities are invited to apply for organisational development or programme activity match funds to these national and local funders. The fund is limited, so we recommend that you contact us at the earliest opportunity.

Project funding

Other selected funding is available for arts and heritage projects as listed below. Please contact the organisations directly to find out whether your project is appropriate to the funding criteria.

• MK Community Foundation - for all your local funding needs.
• Arts Council England - national development agency for arts, museums and libraries.
• National Lottery Heritage Fund - national lottery funding for heritage projects.
• The National Lottery Community Fund - community funding opportunities.

The culture team also help to co-ordinate major bids, avoid clashes with other partners' projects and ensure that bids stand the best possible chance of success. If you are applying to Arts Council England or the National Lottery Funds please let the team know, as we may be able to help you develop your application or link to relevant work by others to make your application more successful.
