The 2025 to 2026 annual Council Tax bills will be sent out on Friday 7 March 2025, with deliveries continuing throughout the week starting on Monday 10 March. If you haven't received your bill yet, please allow some time for delivery. If you have signed up for E-billing, your bill will be sent electronically, and you must have an online account to view it. Note that your annual bill will not reflect any changes made to your account after 21 February 2025. 

Need to contact us? It’s quick and easy to do it online, where you can check your account balance, tell us you’ve moved, arrange or amend direct debits, request a special payment arrangement and apply for certain discounts and exceptions. If you still need to speak to us, you can call us on Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday between 9am and 5pm as we focus on handling customer applications the rest of the time.

What to do if you are struggling to pay your Council Tax and how we can help you.

To reduce the amount we spend on paper and postage, we will now contact our residents by text and email. If you receive a call or a message from Milton Keynes City Council because you are late paying your council tax please be assured that the message is genuine but if you are concerned you can log into your online account using the link below to check your Council Tax account and make payment. There is no need to contact us if you have recently paid and your account is up-to-date.
