Milton Keynes Council (“The Council”) is proposing to introduce the following traffic regulation Order under Sections 84(1), (2) and (3) and Part IV of Schedule 9 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984:
The Council of the Borough of Milton Keynes (Watling Street, Fenny Stratford) (40 mph Speed Restriction) Order 2022.
The general effect of the Order will be to reduce the speed limit to 40mph on Watling Street, from its junction with Kelly’s Kitchen Roundabout for a distance of 590 metres in a north-westerly direction.
The proposal will support the new redway scheme in accordance with the section 278 agreement for the Eaton Leys Development.
