Milton Keynes City Council intends to make the following named traffic regulation Order under sections 1(1), 2(1) (2) (3), 4 (2) and 124(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984: 

MILTON KEYNES CITY COUNCIL (THE COUNCIL OF THE BOROUGH OF MILTON KEYNES) (LONG STREET, HANSLOPE) (40MPH SPEED LIMIT) (No.2) ORDER 1999) REVOCATION ORDER 2025 

The general effect of the above proposed Order will be to revoke the existing 40mph speed restriction along Long Street in Hanslope and replace it with 30mph by virtue of street lighting.

The Council is now carrying out statutory consultation on the proposed Order. Any comments or objections to the above proposal, together with the grounds upon which they are made, must be made in writing and sent to the Council’s Traffic Regulation Order Team at Milton Keynes Council, Civic Offices, 1 Saxon Gate East, Central Milton Keynes MK9 3EJ, or by email to TROteam@milton-keynes.gov.uk quoting reference TRO-424.
