Consultation
The effect of the above proposed Order will be to introduce a prohibition of waiting on footway or verge restriction in Loughton, an area bounded by Linceslade Gove (from a point 80 metres west of its junction Lucy Lane), Bradwell Lane (from a point 10 metres metres south of its junction with Leys Road) and Redland Drive (from a point 10 metres north its junction with Ashpole Furlong and will include the footways and verges along the following lengths of road:
- All Saints View (Both Sides) Its entire length
- Ardy’s Court (Both Sides) Its entire length
- Bignell Croft (Both Sides) Its entire length
- Bradwell Road (Both Sides) From its junction with Linceslade Grove to a point 10 metres metres south of its junction with Leys Road
- Catesby Croft (Both Sides) Its entire length
- Church Lane (Both Sides) Its entire length
- Common Lane (Both Sides) Its entire length
- Cottage Common (Both Sides) Its entire length
- Crane Court (Both Sides) Its entire length
- Ebbsgrove (Both Sides) Its entire length
- Farnell (Both Sides) Its entire length
- Foxley Place (Both Sides) Its entire length
- Hugh Parke Close (Both Sides) Its entire length
- Kirkham Court (Both Sides) Its entire length
- Knowl Gate (Both Sides) Its entire length
- Leys Road (Both Sides) Its entire length
- Linceslade Grove (Both Sides From a point 80 metres west of its junction Lucy Lane to its junction with Redland Drive

Milton Keynes City Council as Highway Authority is satisfied that it is expedient to make the make the above traffic regulation Order under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 pursuant to section 84 for the following reason:
For avoiding danger to pedestrians using the above footways and verges in Loughton or to prevent the likelihood of any such danger arising.
The Council will continue to monitor the way in which highway facilities are used and address any issues that come to its notice and following meaningful consultation with all stakeholders do what it considers necessary to facilitate the expeditious, convenient and safe movement of vehicular and pedestrian traffic.

The Council is now carrying out statutory consultation on the proposed Order. Any comments or objections to the above proposal, together with the grounds upon which they are made, must be made in writing and sent to the Council’s Traffic Regulation Order Team at Milton Keynes Council, Civic Offices, 1 Saxon Gate East, Central Milton Keynes MK9 3EJ, or by email to TROteam@milton-keynes.gov.uk quoting reference TRO-358.
