The Position Paper seeks to clarify our approach to improving road safety and encouraging modal shift away from single occupancy car use.  This will improve local quality of life and public health, support economic growth and deliver benefits for the environment such as carbon reduction.  We are seeking views on whether our plans are appropriate and any other comments people may have which could inform delivery of the strategy.
