Milton Keynes Council is consulting on a Draft Central Bletchley Urban Design Framework Supplementary Planning Document (SPD) following the adoption of the Milton Keynes Local Plan, Plan:MK in March 2019.

The SPD will provide design guidance to promote holistic development.  It will be supplementary to Policy SD16 [Central Bletchley Prospectus Area] in Plan:MK.  The SPD will assist the renewal and regeneration of identified ‘opportunity sites’ within the Central Bletchley Prospectus Area and the delivery of several Bletchley and Fenny Stratford Town Deal projects.

Subject to formal adoption, the SPD will be considered a ‘material consideration’ in the determination of planning applications submitted to the Council within the designated Central Bletchley Prospectus Area.

This consultation runs for six weeks, beginning Monday 20 December 2021 and representations on this SPD must be received before 5pm on Monday 31 January 2022.
