The SPD will provide technical guidance throughout the planning process and supplements the policies within the ‘Transport’ chapter of Plan:MK. The SPD will enable the implementation of Policies CT6 (Low Emission Vehicles) and CT10 (Parking Provision) in Plan:MK. The SPD will be considered a material consideration in the determination of planning applications submitted to the Council.

Next steps

This consultation runs for eight weeks, beginning Wednesday 10 August 2022 and representations on this SPD must be received before 5pm on Wednesday 5 October 2022. Following consultation, we will consider the representations received and update the SPD as appropriate. We aim to adopt the final document in December 2022/January 2023.
