Milton Keynes City Council is consulting to seek views on the preparation of a Carbon and Climate Study, which is one of the evidence base studies that will inform the New City Plan, our next Local Development Plan for Milton Keynes.

The study covers a wide range of different types of development and issues related to climate change. We very much welcome your views on the likely impacts that climate change will create for Milton Keynes, and how you would like to see climate change addressed in the New City Plan.

Next steps 

The consultation runs for six weeks, beginning Tuesday 17 October 2023. Responses to the consultation must be received before 5pm on Tuesday 28 November 2023. The consultation is hosted online on Commonplace. A link to which is shown below:

Following consultation, we will consider the comments received and these will inform the findings of the Study, which will then be used to inform the policies and strategy of the New City Plan, as well as service delivery in other areas of the Council.
