Why the proposed 20mph zone?

The council received a petition from local residents requesting that we consider introducing a 20mph speed limit for the entire estate of Tattenhoe to help reduce speeding and improve road safety.

In response, we carried out our own speed surveys in the estate which has revealed that the average speeds are at the acceptable level for a 20mph zone. 

We'd like to hear your views on the proposal to introduce a 20mph speed limit across all the roads in the estate of Tattenhoe.

We'll consider all the feedback provided during this informal consultation process and if there is enough community support, we will proceed to the next stage which is a formal public consultation.
