Consultation

Milton Keynes City Council are proposing to carry out the following improvements on the H5 Portway between the V2 Tattenhoe Street and V3 Fulmer Street to improve road safety at this location.

This stretch of the H5 has been identified after a history of collisions and near misses involving right turn movements. The aim of the scheme is to provide a safer environment for vehicles travelling on the H5, and to provide safer exit from Flamstead Gate and Singleton Drive.

Our proposal includes:

  • No Right Turns in and out of Flamstead Gate, Medbourne and Singleton Drive, Grange Farm
  • Renewing or upgrading traffic signs and road markings
  • Resurfacing works

You can view the document relating to this proposal below:

You can make comments on these proposals between 3 July and 9 August 2024.

We will review all responses sent to us as part of the formal consultation process.

If there are no significant objections, we expect that the works will start in September 2024 and will take 4-6 weeks to complete.
