Our Passenger Transport team are making improvements to the bus infrastructure across MK including addressing ongoing safety concerns.

One area that has been identified is the bus stop area on St John's Street adjacent to Tickford Parade in Newport Pagnell. Concerns have been raised previously at this location as buses are sometimes unable to pull into the bus cage and passengers cannot access and exit the bus safely.

This is particularly difficult for passengers with mobility needs.

To provide a better and safer service, we would like to extend the footpath along the section of the existing bus stop which is shown on the plan that you can view by clicking on the link below:

The existing parking bays would remain the same and no other changes are proposed.
