Downs Barn School is a community infant school with an age range of 3 to 7 years.  Milton Keynes City Council, in conjunction with the Governing Body of the school, intends to make a prescribed alteration to Downs Barn School with effect from 22 April 2025.  The council intends to alter the lower age range of the school from 3 to 7 years to 2 to 7 years to enable the school to offer nursery provision for two year olds. The school currently offers nursery provision for three and four year olds.
