Consultation
To invite feedback from MK citizens and organisations on proposals for the 2016/2017 council budget.
Further details
We want to hear what you think so you can shape the final budget that the Cabinet will recommend to Full Council in February.
We would especially like to know your views on the following issues:
- The proposed 2% levy on Council Tax to fund extra demand in adult social care.
- The level you believe is a reasonable for garden waste collection.
- How we can increase recycling and reduce general waste.
- How we should use our Older Peoples Day Centre’s more effectively.
- How we should best work with the community to tackle social isolation of older people.
- Suggestions for the best places to create wild flower areas (where safe to do so) to save money on grass cutting and increase biodiversity.
- How we should prioritise which bus services to subsidise.
- How we can attract more people into becoming foster carers.
But of course we also welcome any comments or questions about the budget in general or specific pressures or savings.
