Formed in 1967, NPA is a member of the Bucks Archery Association and the Southern Counties Archery Society, and affiliated to the Grand National Archery Society.

The club welcomes new and novice members. Juniors over 8 years. Wheelchair archers most welcome. Training, which is compulsory for beginners at all clubs, is given by qualified instructors. It consists of six lessons and when it is successfully completed the novice may join the club. Club equipment is available for those who do not have any of their own.
