The Brooklands Centre
The Brooklands Centre has been providing community services for older people since the 1950s. Totally re-built in 2010, The Brooklands Centre is a busy charity run by volunteers and is a great source of company, friendship and enjoyment for many.
The core aim is to provide for the older members of the community, many of whom are single or partially disabled, and give them somewhere to go to eat a square meal and socialise on a daily basis. This in turn helps people to retain their independence, to live in their own homes and remain in the local community.
