If you decide to go ahead 

We’ll agree a date and time to install the alarm (which takes around 45 minutes) and we’ll confirm the time on the day. Our trained installers all carry photo ID. They’ll carefully explain how the alarm works, and test it and any other equipment. No phone line is needed as it has its own mobile connection. They’ll make sure you can comfortably activate the alarm and hear the operator. For customers who are hard of hearing we can provide an additional speaker to boost the volume. They will also double check we have the right access, medical and contact information.

  • Wear your alarm around your neck or wrist so it’s there when you need it. 
  • Press the button and you’ll come through to one of our local trained operators. 
  • As soon as you press the button, our control centre sees your name and details so even if you can’t talk (or we can’t hear you) we know who you are and that you need help, and we’ll take action straight away.

How much does the personal alarm service cost?

With us there are:

Our subsidised charge is currently just £2.59 each week. That’s £1.43 for a digital personal alarm unit and £1.16 in mobile SIM charges.
