All staff should understand:
- Their role, responsibilities and accountability and the standard of conduct and behaviour expected of them
- Milton Keynes Safeguarding Board safeguarding policies and procedures
- Any specific safeguarding related policies and procedures for their organisation
Individual agencies are responsible for ensuring that their staff are competent and confident in carrying out their responsibilities for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and adults, this includes ensuring that they receive safeguarding training at a level appropriate to that member of staff’s role and this is updated as necessary.
