AVA Choices - working in partnership with Milton Keynes Council
How does Ava Choices work?
This is a service to help those who are not eligible for funding from their Local Authority (Self-Funders) and those who prefer to find their own care.
- You or someone on your behalf decides what you want from your care and support service.
- Ava connects you with Care Quality Commission (CQC) accredited local care providers and allows you to explore the choices available to meet those needs.
- Ava also provides helpful information and guidance and allows your care and support arrangements and payments to be managed in a single secure place.
Process to access the service:
- Clients / Family, Friends: Register the client via the AVA online referral form, or telephone directly.
- Professionals: Can also refer or simply request AVA to contact the client / caller.
Charges
- There is no cost to the clients for this service.
- Clients will pay AVA for care provided, AVA will pay the provider.
