MK Archaeology Day

MK Archaeology Day returns to the Central Library on Saturday 2 November 2024. This free event features something for all ages, with stands and displays from local archaeological groups and a special “hands on” archaeology activity for young people by Cotswold Archaeology from 10am to 3pm.

The afternoon features talks from 1:30pm with a focus on local Community Archaeology, excavations on the MK East development and a special guest presentation on the internationally significant excavations of a later Bronze Age pile-dwelling settlement at Must Farm near Peterborough.
