The Safe Practice Mark is awarded to organisations providing youth services. It provides assurance to those using the services that correct safeguards are in place.

  • offers community and voluntary sector organisations support from MKCC Safeguarding services
  • standardises practice of setting up and running youth provision in MK
  • organisations can gain the Safe Practice Mark on an annual basis
  • MKCC Safeguarding Managers review the organisations safeguarding, allegations, social media and data protection policies and procedures including that DBS checks, safeguarding training and a Designated Safeguarding Lead are in place
  • offer community and voluntary sector youth organisations support from MKCC Safeguarding services
